Tokyo’s Narita International Airport has reportedly become a testing ground for Honda’s fuel cell FCX Clarity . Honda has given an unknown number of FCX Clarity sedans to the airport to chauffeur passengers from the airport to downtown Tokyo, which is roughly a distance of 45 miles. The Honda FCX Clarity’s taxiing duties began on September 5 and will help test the vehicle under real-world driving conditions, including freeways and stoplight-peppered city streets

Honda is one of the few automakers that remains committed to hydrogen fuel cell technology . To help get the word out about hydrogen’s potential, Honda has joined the Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) to drive further hydrogen adoption in Europe.
